Pugs

Pugs have a large head with big eyes,  slight underbite, a very wrinkled forehead, and a short, square muzzle. Pugs have a compact, and muscular body. Male pugs weigh between 13 and 20 pounds, females weight between 13 and 18. Females are also a little shorter in height.

The Pug has a glossy short haired coat which can be apricot, black, fawn, or silver, but they always have a black mask. Pugs are an average shedder, but shed year round. Fawn Pugs have a double coat and shed more than others. Certain shampoos or regular grooming can be used to help manage the shedding.

Pugs are easygoing, intelligent, and calm. They get along well with children, other dogs, and other pets. Pugs are lovable lap dogs who love to stick close to their owner’s side. Most Pugs usually wheeze or snore. Pugs usually have a lifespan of 12 to 15 years.
They love to play outdoors, provided the weather is good. Always make sure they have a cool place to spend the day if it is hot outside. The Pug is well suited to apartment life.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Penny was wonderful to work with. We were nervous to adopt from out of state sight unseen. She has her transfer procedure down pat. Our dog arrived clean and well cared for. Penny provided videos and parent pictures of our beautiful Cocker spaniel. He is well socialized, healthy and a joyful addition to our dog family. She cares about her pups , I would adopt again from her. Thank you for our wonderful puppy.
